2006 sure started the best way for me. 🙂 In the new year eve I found my cousins that I had no contact with in my 22 yrz! And now I have a whole new part of my family to explore and a lot of kool people to get to know. It’z quite amazing. As for how it happened, well one of my cousins found my name on the web. It’s pretty much like one of those classic movies [except the part about the web I guess! :P] Yeah, it’s definitely my unpredictable life. I’m just so happy about it…
And the new semester in Ryerson….well it’z kool so far! All my profs seem to be just great. I was so worried about the “field theory” [every ELCE student’s beloved course (!!!)] and it’s oh so popular killer charms…but now I feel just a bit better since I actually have an amazing [& I mean AMAZING] prof for it. Not that I’m not worreid anymore, cause believe me, I am…. 😛
Advanced Spanish which I’m taking for my elective has already started to get “interesting”. The basic course was pretty easy but this is definitely not going to be the same. And NO, that does not mean that I’m gonna stop learning Greek and I probably will start mixing up the 2…in fact I’m already seeing signs…
So….this semester is sure going to be a lot of fun.
My mind is all over the place @ the moment. There are reasonz why I haven’t been writing much lately, believe me! Besidez the fact that I’ve been getting 3/24 hourz of sleep, and I have no idea what’z been happening to the remaining 21, I’ve been experiencing some mental challengez az well! (yeah…like I don’t alwayz…!) No really, this one’z bothering me. I feel like I’ve disrespected my own sense of sensibility (if that’z even a correct English sentence!). I think for a fraction of a second I actually believed….I believed in something that was obviously a 100% bogus, and now I’m still paying for it.If u haven’t got it by now, I’m talking about that Ahura guy and all his colorful speeches about his mission & bla bla woof woof…..This guy put his finger on quite a sensitive point & he successfully played a large number of people….& although I was one of the generally non-believersz, now that everything’z over I feel like there’z a hole inside of me…..maybe it’z where hope used to be…. @ least for a very short while…..
I walked…& walked…& walked….& walked….the weather waz fabulous….it waz raining lightly…& I walked…& walked…& I watched the streets…all new to me….& I walked….& I watched the people…all interesting to me….all stranger to me….& I walked….& walked…..for hourz & hourz….I felt completely lost…..& walked….& wondered how different people can be….& how different the weather can smell…..& how different the rain can taste….& walked…& I felt the sun rays on my skin…coming from behind the clouds…..I’m the same….you’re the same….& I walked…& there were drops all over my face….rain drops on my cheeks…..& I walked…..& wondered if rain waz painting my feelingz on my face…..& walked…& walked….& the more I walked the further I got from my destination…..& I walked….& I thought to myself….I’m so not close to home………….
