I) I got this pretty kool article yesterday in my RSS reader…it’z from Robots.net. Apparently there’z this new robot that can tell the difference between a mirror image of itself, and another robot looking exactly like it. It is said that this breakthrough can lead to creation of robots that are capable of emotion. Interesting eh? Somehow I can’t stop thinking about this….
II) Last night I started up on Greek grammar. [So far I know the alphabet, I’ve developed an understanding of the pronunciations and how things are supposed to sound like, and I know a bunch of words and short sentences.] U know what’s interesting? The grammar actually seems to be not so difficult. Then again this could be only the beginning…..
I’m also having so much fun with the Greek vocabulary. I don’t know how to put this in words…things “sound nice” in Greek! Also a lot of Greek words seem to have found their way into other languages, including Spanish and Persian. [In case of Persian I still don’t quite know which one has found its way into the other, although I’ve been doing a lot of “history” homework!] As a result, a lot of these new words are not so new to me!
Back when I started “blogging” there were no such thingz as “blogs” in existence yet. My first online journal was a plain simple HTML page which would take forever to load since it contained kilometers of text. Later on I tried using a database…creating my own elementary “blog system”… wasn’t too bad. But then came blogger which I didn’t find out about till 2002. That’z when I got this blog. It just made life easier. I wrote here for a short while but then “Persian Blog” happened and since it seemed a little bit easier to use @ that time, I moved there. Plus I’m Persian… well…. “Persian Blog” sounded kind of kool. Little did I know that was the biggest mistake I could make. It’z almost 2006 now and Persian Blog has somehow managed to only go backwards through time, meaning that the service has only gotten worse. It takes forever to publish and [ok forget it I’m not even gonna start…] and hey, the biggest online Persian society does not even offer any kind of Syndication System. Still, I was trying to be faithful to the Persian Blog so I stayed there for as long as I could… but it finally managed to drive me out. It’z been months now that my blog has had a publishing problem, it shows some FTP error that is impossible for me to solve and the people in charge don’t seem to have any interest in solving it either, no matter how many emailz I’ve sent them. So… I ended up moving back here. It seemz that blogger has actually became a lot kooler since the last time I checked…. so I think I’m gonna be here for quite a while this time.
I think I finally got tired of thinking “I really wanna speak this language” every time I listen to a Greek song or hear 2 people speaking Greek. So that’z it, as of now I am officially learning Greek! It definitely is not gonna be easy and it’z gonna take forever and I’m gonna get tortured but it’z worth it. It’z a beautiful language, well developed and deep. Pretty close to Persian from many aspectz too [that is my mother tongue which I’m deeply in luv with].

1384….Going to school on Monday March 21st was the most painful thing to do. I’m supposed to have 13 dayz off….ah….& even worse than that was not being able to run around and say happy new year to everyone without people thinking that u’ve lost your mind. It was only about 1:00 PM when I got some break from all the weirdness….I saw my friend Shiba by accident & given that she’z Persian too I finally got the chance to say happy new year to someone & hear it back…..ah….what a pleasure! U think I’m sounding silly? Well u gotta believe me that’z the way it is….. It’z difficult when it’z your new year & not anyone else’z. & if I thought that was unfair…well…that was just the beginning. Apparently because of the beginning of the new year everyone & everything have decided to show me their tough side. Everyone who’s had expectationz before, have tripled it now. Anyone who was tough to deal with before seemz to have gone exponential on me now. What’z with u people? Give me a break I do deserve it! Stop asking me for miraclez, I’m just a human being! Stop acting like I’m responsible for everything! Stop with the power lecturez I’m not trying to challenge anyone or “outsmart” anyone….I’m just not like that….& oh yeah stop asking me to FLY! Well….this is the beginning of 1384….God help me with the rest of it…
